24-hour operation on Saturday

Every Saturday

Starting in September 2025, Lines 2 and 3 (along with the tram and additional bus lines) will operate 24 hours a day every Saturday, with less frequent service (~15 minutes) during nighttime hours. The Line 1 is excluded.

Airport Routes

Line 3

Buses to and from Airport run approximately every 30–36 minutes, from early morning until late at night. The downtown section of Line 3 operates at its regular frequency.

  • Before you travel: Check real-time arrivals in the app OASA Telematics or on Moovit, and add the page to your favorites.
  • To Airport: with the Line 3 directly (€9 special fare). Buses to the airport run less frequently—plan accordingly.
  • Peak hours: The busiest times are 7:30–9:30 a.m. and 5:00–7:00 p.m. on weekdays.
  • Saturday night: Lines 2 and 3 run 24 hours a day—perfect for a stress-free night out without worrying about the last bus.
  • Cancel the ticket: Always tap your Ath.ena card or ticket on the blue readers at the entrance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Not every day. Generally, buses run from around 5:00 a.m. until midnight. However, Every Saturday, Lines 2 and 3 operate 24 hours a day (starting in September 2025). Line 1 is excluded.

On weekdays, approximately 7:00–10:00 a.m. and 5:00–8:00 p.m. Outside these hours, the network is quieter and service runs every 5–10 minutes.

Take the Line 3 directly. Buses to the airport run approximately every 30–36 minutes, and a special ticket costs 9 € (reduced fare: 4.50 €).

On most holidays, Sunday hours apply, while on certain holidays, hours are extended. Always check the OASA Telematics app for the exact hours.

On weekdays, the last trains depart around midnight. On Saturdays, you can travel at any time on Lines 2 and 3 thanks to their 24-hour service.
